Nutrition and Hydration Week: Are You Actually Drinking Enough?
Most people know they should eat better. Far fewer people give serious thought to how they're hydrating — and the gap between knowing and doing is real. That's why Nutrition and Hydration Week, running March 16–22, is one of our favorite awareness campaigns of the year.
Hydration isn't just about drinking eight glasses of water. It's about giving your body the fluids and electrolytes it needs to function at its best — and choosing what you drink wisely.
Why Hydration Gets Overlooked
Thirst is actually a late signal. By the time you feel thirsty, you're already mildly dehydrated — and mild dehydration affects cognitive function, energy levels, digestion, and even hunger signals (yes, you might be eating when your body actually wants water). Building proactive hydration habits is one of the easiest and most impactful changes you can make.
Making Hydration a Habit You Enjoy
Plain water is great, but if you're someone who struggles to drink enough, giving your water some flavor and purpose is a game-changer.
Our Herbal Tea Concentrate is a morning ritual that does double duty: it tastes delicious, gives you a clean energy lift, and contributes to your daily fluid intake. Just a teaspoon mixed with hot or cold water and you've got something you'll actually look forward to.
For digestive support alongside hydration, we love the Herbal Aloe Concentrate mixed into water throughout the day. Aloe is well-regarded for its soothing effect on the digestive tract, which matters for nutrient absorption.
And if you're active, replenishing electrolytes is part of hydration too. The Beverage Mix is a great option for staying hydrated when you're moving — without the artificial dyes and excessive sugar of conventional sports drinks.
The Nutrition Side of the Week
Hydration and nutrition are deeply connected. Proper fluid intake helps your body absorb and transport nutrients more effectively. If you're fueling with something like the Formula 1 Shake and pairing it with intentional hydration, you're giving yourself a significant advantage.
Use this week to audit both sides of the equation. Check out our FAQ for guidance on how our products fit into a complete daily nutrition routine.
Drink up. Your body will thank you.
